K20 Sarah McDonald qualifies for Team GB
Sunday 26th September saw K20 member Sarah McDonald, who normally rides with K3, compete in the Hever Castle Standard Duathlon (10.5km run / 40km bike / 4.2km run). If you know the area, you’ll know the bike route is a bumpy one and the two runs were mostly off road/trail with plenty of their own undulations too.
In nice sunny conditions, Sarah crossed the line in 2:50:24 securing 1st place in her age group and as the race was also a World Championship Age Group Qualifying event, a place in the 2022 Team representing GB - the venue and date are to be confirmed.
